Kyo is alive!

Soooo sorry I have not updated you guys on what I’ve been doing the past couple weeks but things have been super busy here at the farm. We had a lot of bad storms come through that left us with weeks worth of repairs to do that sapped all my time away from the computer. It even took away from my writing time as I work from 5am to 1pm and then have barn work that drains my energy for anything else.

But when we finally got the farm all fixed up my family and I started a new adventure. A weight loss adventure. Sadly, this to will take away from my writing time so it might be a while before I have anything writing related to share with you guys but hopefully you will stick with me until the time that I can write more rolls around because to me my health is more important and I have to take this step.

So far that is going good. Today was the week 1 weigh in and my sister lost 1.4 pounds (she had a serious wake-up call on how hard she is going to have to work) my mother lost 6 pounds (*Cheers all super proud like*) but I was the biggest loser this week with a total of 7.4 pounds lost! Yay me! I’m aiming for 10 lost this week so I will be working even harder then ever. And eating healthier then ever!

Now, I’m not sure if I will post about my journey here or in a separate blog but a lot of people have been asking me what I’m eating, how I’m working out, and a lot of different questions. I think I will probably do a new one and drag in a few guest authors from others I know that had a great amount of success in changing their lives.

But have no fear! I will not forget about you guys nor have I completely abandoned my writing. It’s just taking a backseat to my health for a little while.

Until next time! Have a good day and happy writing!

Just keep in mind, losing that much weight in a week, while it is a great achievement *applauds*, it can also be unhealthy. You’ll have to be careful once you get to your determined goal not to fall out of eating healthy and exercising or you’ll gain back about 15-25 lbs. (Speaking from experience of my personal weight loss/gain last year.)
